O segmento escolhido, o jeans, representa coragem e transgressão, sendo um material versátil que agrada tanto homens quanto mulheres em busca de roupas casuais elegantes. Atualmente, a Desbrave Jeans é uma loja especializada localizada no Feirão do Lu em Duque de Caxias - RJ, mas tem como objetivo se tornar uma marca de moda jeans private label.

O projeto de branding para a Desbrave Jeans enfrentou diversos desafios. A oportunidade de construir uma marca do zero trouxe consigo a liberdade de criar uma identidade única, porém, a loja estava localizada em um feirão de roupas com uma forte concorrência e canibalização. O maior desafio era diferenciar-se pelo estilo e jeito de ser da marca, em vez de competir apenas pelo preço. Além disso, a Desbrave era nova no ramo e na localidade, sem uma carteira de clientes anterior, o que aumentava a dificuldade em conquistar um público fiel. Os empreendedores possuíam pouca experiência no ramo da moda, e era importante superar essa falta de conhecimento para garantir o sucesso do projeto. Além disso, era necessário considerar que a maioria dos clientes eram mulheres, enquanto todos os empreendedores eram homens. Foi preciso compreender o público-alvo e criar estratégias de marketing que se conectassem com as necessidades e preferências das clientes em potencial.

The opportunity to build a brand from scratch brought the freedom to create a unique identity, but the store was located in a clothing fair with strong competition and cannibalization. The biggest challenge was to differentiate the brand based on its style and way of being, rather than competing solely on price. Additionally, Desbrave was new to the industry and the location, without a previous customer base, which increased the difficulty of gaining loyal customers. The entrepreneurs had limited experience in the fashion industry, and it was important to overcome this lack of knowledge to ensure the project's success. Furthermore, it was necessary to consider that the majority of customers were women, while all the entrepreneurs were men. Understanding the target audience and creating marketing strategies that resonate with the needs and preferences of potential female customers was essential.

Para construir o processo de branding da Desbrave Jeans, foi adotada uma abordagem que envolveu uma série de entrevistas com os empreendedores, permitindo compreender suas visões e valores. Além disso, foi realizada uma pesquisa de mercado abrangente para identificar tendências, preferências e necessidades dos clientes. Uma visita técnica no feirão proporcionou insights valiosos sobre o ambiente competitivo e as expectativas dos consumidores. O uso de clientes ocultos permitiu uma análise detalhada dos concorrentes, identificando seus pontos fortes e fracos. Por fim, o social listening foi empregado para monitorar e analisar conversas e opiniões nas mídias sociais, auxiliando na definição de estratégias de comunicação e posicionamento da marca.

Para a marca Desbrave, foi proposta uma solução de branding abrangente. Primeiramente, o nome Desbrave foi criado com base no plano conceitual da marca, que se inspira no arquétipo do Explorador. A identidade visual foi desenvolvida para dar suporte ao plano conceitual, transmitindo os valores e diferenciais da marca. Definiu-se o DNA da marca, incluindo sua personalidade, linguagem, voz e elementos distintivos. Por fim, entregou-se um brand book completo, que consolidou todas essas diretrizes e estratégias em um documento abrangente. O plano conceitual da marca baseia-se na ideia de explorar um novo mundo, assim como o descobrimento da América e a pandemia foram marcos históricos que revelaram a possibilidade de um novo mundo. A marca Desbrave representa a disposição de explorar as infinitas possibilidades e recursos disponíveis para alcançar o sucesso, criando trilhas consistentes para a prosperidade.
